Make it yourself.... and let the kids help.

     Many JELL-Os have a lot of processed sugar or the "sugar free" artificial sweeteners, both unnecessary for a cool treat. The labels list 10-15 ingredients many of which are difficult to pronounce (always a bad sign) including artificial flavors and colors. 
     It is easy and fun to make your own JELL-O at home. Just as fast as the traditional JELL-O flavors you and your kids can mix up a fun healthy treat.

             Chia Seeds
Adding just 2 tablespoons of chia seeds to your daily 
diet will give you approximately 7 grams of fiber,
4 grams of protein, 205 milligrams of calcium, and
a whopping 5 grams of omega-3!
